A dozen ducklings fell into a storm drain on Monce Road, in front of the Lake Garda Elementary School in Burlington. They were first noticed by a school bus driver who saw a distressed mother duck hop over a drain, which the ducklings proceeded to fall into.

Animal control officers from Burlington and Farmington were able to safely rescue all 12 ducklings from the drain safely. They then reunited them with their mother, who marched them off to a nearby lake without further incident.

All’s well that ends well.
